Text Sizing

The text size in RI.gov is automatically based on your default browser text settings. If you find the text too small or too large, you can easily change the text size in your browser at any time.

Microsoft Internet Explorer

  1. From the Menu options along the top of your browser window, click "View".
  2. In the menu that drops down click "Text Size"
  3. Another menu will branch off to the right. Then select the size that is right for you.

Netscape Navigator (Version 6.0 or Higher), Mozilla, and Firefox

  1. From the Menu options along the top of your browser window, click "View".
  2. In the menu that drops down click "Text Size"
  3. Another menu will branch off to the right. Use the options to increase or decrease the text size.

You may also use the shortcut keyboard commands of Ctrl+ or Ctrl- to increase or decrease the text size.

Safari

  1. From the View menu, select "Make text bigger, or "Make text smaller"
  2. Or, from the keyboard, type Command (Open - apple) + or command (open-apple) -
