Corrections Director A.T. Wall II is pleased to announce the appointment of Susan Lamkins of Fairhaven, Mass., as his Administrative Assistant/Confidential Secretary. Susan was selected from a large pool of applicants and began her new duties at the end of September.
“I was impressed with Susan’s strengths in the areas of administrative support tasks, customer service, contract compliance, and issue resolution,” notes Director Wall.
Susan served in the Director’s Office as a temporary employee for three months prior to her appointment demonstrating excellent communication skills, dependability and common sense, respect for confidentiality, motivation, and professionalism.
Susan replaces Sandra Thornton, who passed away last spring after 33 years with the Department.
