On Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at 1:00 PM, Troopers arrested Jason Souza, age 47, of 77 Lubec Street, Providence, Rhode Island, on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Possession of Marijuana More Than 2 Ounces originating out of the Hope Valley Barracks. This arrest was a result of a Barracks investigation and Troopers locating Souza at the Sixth Division District Court. Souza was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed, and later arraigned at the Third Division District Court.
On Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at 10:22 PM, Troopers arrested William Coelho, age 44, of 928 Broadway, Fall River, Massachusetts, for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor – BAC Unknown Second Offense, and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – First Offense. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle accident investigation on Point Street, in the City of Providence. Coelho was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released into the custody of a responsible adult pending a future date at the Sixth Division District Court.
On Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at 10:22 PM, Troopers arrested Eldomenic Ramsey, age 40, of 180 Log Road, Smithfield, Rhode Island, for Domestic Violence – Violation of No Contact Order First Offense. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle accident investigation on Point Street, in the City of Providence. Ramsey was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed and held overnight pending arraignment/presentment as a probation violator at the Sixth Division District Court.
