PROVIDENCE— Lt. Gov. Elizabeth Roberts today issued the following statement on the passing of Rep. Paul Crowley:
"Paul Crowley symbolized all that is good with public service. He was a colleague I admired greatly from the start of my time in government. He was a trusted ally for many of the causes we shared a passion for including education reform. Most of all he is a friend that will be missed greatly. My condolences go out to Diana, their children and the city of Newport for the loss of a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, and an unwavering champion of the city and state he loved."
