On March 26, 2025, members of the ACI Investigations Unit arrested Rene Martel, age 48, of 23 Clinton Street, Woonsocket, Rhode Island, on an Affidavit/Arrest Warrant for the following charge: 1) Violation of Community Supervision originating from the ACI Investigations Unit. Mr. Martel was arraigned in Third Division Court, where he was presented as a Superior Court violator and granted $1,000 surety bail.
On March 26, 2025, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force and the Computer Crimes Unit/Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested Joel Caballero, age 33, of 30 Cory Avenue, Cranston, Rhode Island, for Possession of Child Pornography. Mr. Caballero was processed at State Police Headquarters and transported to Kent County District Court for arraignment. Mr. Caballero was arraigned by the Honorable Judge O'Neill, who issued $5,000 surety bail with conditions of no unsupervised contact with minors and restricted internet access.
On March 26, 2025, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Morris King, age 60, of 30 Howard Avenue, Cranston, Rhode Island, on a Sixth Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear/Restitution Review on an original charge of Felony Assault out of the Central Falls Police Department. Mr. King was taken into custody without incident, processed and transported to the Adult Correctional Institutions Intake Service Center.
On March 26, 2025, members of the Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Anthony J. Mallozzi, age 31, of 131 Canfield Avenue, Warwick, Rhode Island, on the following Kent County Superior Court Bench Warrants: 1) Domestic Violence - Criminal Violation; 2) Domestic Violence - Criminal Violation; 3) Domestic Violence - Criminal Violation; 4) Breaking/Entering Business Place; 5) Domestic Violence - Willful Trespass; 6) Unlawful Breaking and Entering; 7) Domestic Violence - Criminal Violation; and 8) Possession of a Controlled Substance. Mr. Mallozzi was taken into custody without incident, processed and turned over to the Warwick Police Department.
