On Friday, March 7, 2025, at approximately 4:15 a.m., members of the HIDTA Task Force, assisted by members of the Violent Fugitive Task Force and the Cranston Police Department, arrested Federico Garcia, age 34, of 222 Vermont Avenue, Providence, Rhode Island, for the following: 1) Possession With the Intent to Deliver Over One Kilogram of a Schedule II Controlled Substance - Cocaine; 2) Possession With the Intent to Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance - Cocaine; 3) Possession With the Intent to Deliver 1 oz - 1 kilogram of a Schedule II Controlled Substance - Fentanyl; 4) Possession With the Intent to Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance – Fentanyl; and 5) Controlled Substance Conspiracy. This arrest was the result of executions of court-authorized Search Warrants at the conclusion of a narcotics investigation. Mr. Garcia was transported to the Lincoln Barracks for processing, then was arraigned in Sixth Division District Court, where he was held without bail.
