Lincoln Woods Barracks

At 9:00 PM, Troopers arrested Alvaro Vasquez, 28, of 110 Oxford Street, Cranston, Rhode Island for 1.) Violation of a No Contact Order – First Offense. The arrest was a result of a barracks investigation and the Cranston Police Department subsequently locating Vasquez. Vasquez was transported to the State Police - Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution Men's Intake Center.

At 11:31 PM, Troopers arrested Patrick Grundy, 51, 76 Park Street Apt. #1, Providence, Rhode Island Rhode Island for 1.) Possession of a Schedule I-V Controlled Substance Less than 10 Grams (Fentanyl). The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on Atwells Avenue in the City of Providence. Grundy was transported to the State Police - Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released.

At 11:31 PM, Troopers arrested James Grundy, 64, of 76 Park Street Apt. #1, Providence, Rhode Island on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant on the original charges of 1.) Larceny under $1,500 and 2.) Obtaining Money Under False Pretenses, originating out of the Johnston Police Department. The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on Atwells Avenue in the City of Providence. Grundy was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and later turned over to the Johnston Police Department.

At 2:17 AM, Troopers arrested Alex Pizarro, 33, of 36 Myrtle Street, Apartment 2, New Bedford, Massachusetts, for 1.) License or Permit Required for Carrying a Pistol; 2.) Possession of a Firearm by Certain Persons Prohibited; 3.) Large Capacity Feeding Devices Prohibited; 4.) Conspiracy; and 5.) a Federal Warrant for Violation of Probation originating out of the United States Marshalls Service on the original charge of Possession of a Weapon. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 195 in the City of East Providence. Pizarro was transported to the State Police – Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and held pending morning arraignment.

At 2:17 AM, Troopers arrested Yagdiel Y. Medina, 21, of 200 Weld Street, Apartment 3, New Bedford, Massachusetts, for 1.) License or Permit Required for a Carrying Pistol; 2.) Large Capacity Feeding Devices Prohibited; 3.) Conspiracy; 4.) Vandalism; and 5.) Disorderly Conduct. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 195 in the City of East Providence. Medina was transported to the State Police – Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a notice to appear in Sixth Division District Court.
