On Friday, January 3, 2025 at 5:42 PM, Troopers arrested Robert J. Silva, age 67, of 620 Gardiner Road, Exeter, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor – BAC .15 or Greater – First Offense (Phase I: 0.210% & Phase II: 0.202%), 2.) Duty to Stop in Accident Resulting in Damage to Vehicle. The result was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Gardiner Road in the Town of Exeter. The subject was transported to the State Police – Hope Valley Barracks, where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a future Fourth District Court date.
