On Thursday January 2nd at 9:00 AM, Troopers arrested David Manzi, age 39, of 59 Azalea Drive, Cranston, Rhode Island, on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant originating out of the Lincoln Woods Barracks for Simple Assault or Battery. This arrest was the result of a barracks investigation by Trooper Dietsch and a subsequent residence check. Manzi was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and transported to Third Division District Court for arraignment.
On Thursday January 2nd at 1:38 PM, Troopers arrested Leonard Thorton age 62 of, 258 Auburn Street Cranston, Rhode Island, on a Fugitive from Justice for the original charge of Forgery of RMV Document, which originated out of the Seekonk Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Charles Street in the City of Providence. Thorton was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institutions Men's Intake Center.
On Thursday January 2nd at 1:48 PM, Troopers arrested Percy Judd age 53 of, 460 Pine Street, Providence, Rhode Island for an Active Affidavit and Arrest Warrant out of Fourth District Court for Failure to Appear for a Pretrial Conference on the original charge of Driving on an Expired License. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Elmwood Avenue in the City of Providence. Judd was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institutions Men's Intake Center.
On Thursday January 2nd at 11:18 PM, Troopers arrested, Dorian Parache, age 28, of 324 New York Avenue, Providence, Rhode Island on an Active Affidavit/Arrest Warrant on the original charge of Domestic Simple Assault originating out of the Providence Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Whitehall Street in the City of Providence. Parache was transported and turned over to the Providence Police Department.
On Friday January 3rd at 3:24 AM, Troopers arrested, Francisco Fortes De Burgo, age 30, of 38 Hartfield Street, Pawtucket, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor and/or Drugs - First Offense (BAC Unknown) and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – First Offense. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Barton Street in the City of Pawtucket. Fortes De Burgo was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and held overnight pending arraignment and presentment as a bail violator at Sixth Division District Court.
