At 9:35 AM, Troopers arrested Brian Pavao, age 35, of 33 Colony Drive, Johnston, Rhode Island, for 1.) Felony Assault by Use of Devices Similar in Appearance to a Firearm. The arrest was the result of Troopers responding to a road rage incident on Route 195 West at the Washington Bridge. The subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed, and transported to Sixth Division District Court for arraignment.
At 11:22 PM, Troopers arrested Marc Jean, age 24, of 65 Prince Street, Apartment #1, Pawtucket, Rhode Island, for 1.) Possession of Schedule I to V Controlled Substance (Ecstasy) – 10 Grams or Less, 2.) Forgery and Counterfeiting of Registration Plates. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 North at Broadway Street. The subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, where he was processed and arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released pending a future Sixth District Court date.
At 1:52 AM, Troopers arrested Elias Fernandez, age 44, of 660 Park Avenue, Apartment #1, Cranston, Rhode Island, for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs B.A.C Unknown – First Offense and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – First Offense, 3.) Obstructing an Officer in Execution of Duty, 4) Reckless driving. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Broadway Street, in the City of Providence. The subject was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released into the custody of a responsible adult.
At 4:00 AM, Troopers arrested Alioune Sylla, age 37, of 23 Cecile Street, Lincoln, Rhode Island, for 1.) Forgery and Counterfeiting of Registration Plates, 2.) Giving False Documents to Agent, Employee, or Public Officials. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Dexter Street, in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, where he was processed and arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released pending a future Sixth District Court date.
