At 9:59 PM, Troopers arrested Joseph A. Saltamachia, age 36, of 32 Tourtellot Hill Road, Chepachet, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor-BAC Unknown-First Offense and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 295 North in the Town of Johnston. The subject was transported to State Police Headquarters, where he was processed, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released to the custody of a responsible adult with a future Third District Court date.
