On December 9, at 10:50 AM, Troopers arrested Harold Herrera, age 22, of 19 Bowlett Street Providence, Rhode Island for Reckless Driving. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 6 in the City of Providence. Herrera was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by Justice of the Peace, and released with a future Sixth District Court date.
On December 9, at 4:55 PM, Troopers arrested Marc DaSilva, age 33, of 101 Mount Hope Avenue, Bristol, Rhode Island for 1.) Simple Assault and/or Battery and 2.) Disorderly Conduct (Fighting/Tumultuous Behavior). This arrest was the result of Troopers responding to a motor vehicle accident on Route 195 West in the City of East Providence. DaSilva was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a future Sixth Division District Court date.
On December 9, at 11:23 PM, Troopers arrested Gregory Talley, age 31, of 27 Horton Street, Apartment #2, Attleboro, Massachusetts, for 1.) Possession of a Firearm by a Person Convicted of a Crime of Violence (Two Counts), 2.) Carrying a Weapon While Intoxicated (Two Counts), 3.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and or Drugs – First Offense, 4.) Simple Assault or Battery 5.) Disorderly Conduct (Fighting / Tumultuous Behavior), 6.) Obstructing an Officer in the Execution of Duty, 7.) Resisting Legal or Illegal Arrest, and 8.) Vandalism / Malicious Injury to Property. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle accident investigation on Atwells Avenue in the City of Providence. Talley was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and held overnight pending morning arraignment.
