At 8:33 PM, Troopers arrested Jonathan Kunze, age 30, of 27 Whitehall Drive, Warwick, RI for 1) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – 1st Offense B.A.C. Unknown, and 2) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test . The arrest was the result of a 911 call to the Scituate Barracks in reference to an erratic operator on Route 295, and subsequent motor vehicle stop in the Town of Smithfield. After being issued several doses of Narcan on scene, Mr. Kunze was transported to Fatima Hospital for evaluation. Mr. Kunze was later transported to State Police Headquarters, processed, then transported to the Adult Correctional Institution where he will be held as a Probation Violator.
