The Department of Human Services Office of Child Support Services (OCSS) is offering a daylong child support training entitled "Navigating the Child Support System" on Friday, October 25, 2019. The training will provide an overview of the child support program, including but not limited to: establishing parentage; establishing, modifying and enforcing child support and medical orders; collection and distribution of child support; and fatherhood initiatives.
The training, the seventh annual for OCSS, is for community-based organizations that provide services to parents and grandparents as well as state staff who serve a similar population. Friday's training will be from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Child & Family Services, 1268 Eddy Street, Providence. Space is limited so register early at the Office of Child Support Services link below.
