The Complainant alleged that the Pascoag Fire District ("Fire District") failed to timely post meeting minutes for two meetings. The Fire District acknowledged its failure to post meeting minutes for its December 10, 2018 and January 14, 2019 meetings. This conduct violated the OMA. See R.I. Gen. Laws § 42-46-7(b)(2). We determined that injunctive relief was not appropriate because the Fire District had since posted the meeting minutes. Additionally, although a close question, this Office determined that there was insufficient evidence to conclude that the violations were willful or knowing. Nonetheless, this Office admonished the Fire District that its conduct violated the OMA and may serve as evidence of a willful or a knowing violation in any similar future situation. VIOLATION FOUND
