The Department of Human Services has multiple critical safety net programs and supportive services that help more than 300,000 Rhode Islanders each year. Our customers include families, adults, children, elders, individuals with disabilities, refugees and veterans, and it is our goal to make a lasting, positive impact on their lives and the State's health, wealth and future.
Our reach to every city and town in Rhode Island is only possible with the strong community partnerships we have across the State. In June, we had the opportunity to celebrate our work and our partners at Project Search graduations, the annual Office of Child Support Services Conference and the World Refugee Day festivity in Providence.
