On March 18, 2019, the Statewide Grand Jury returned an indictment charging Michael Soares with one count of murder.
The alleged act occurred in the city of Warwick sometime on May 17, 2013. The Warwick Police Department conducted the investigation.
The defendant is currently being held without bail at the ACI and is scheduled to be arraigned on April 11, 2019 in Kent County Superior Court.
