WARWICK, R.I. – This weekend, volunteers from across Rhode Island will assemble hundreds of care packages for Rhode Island service members and local veterans as part of the 16th Operation Holiday Cheer.
On Saturday, November 17th, volunteers will collect and sort donations from the public from 8:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the Rhode Island National Guard Armory in Warwick. On Sunday, November 18th from 8:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., volunteers will return to the Armory to assemble care packages.
WHEN: Donation Drop-off: Saturday, November 18th, 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Care Package Assembly: Sunday, November 19th, 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
