As a follow-up to last December's rating agency presentations, the Rhode Island Treasurer's Office is holding another ratings-related issuer education conference.

This session will focus on rating agency relationship best practices, including: issuers' perspectives on establishing relationships with the rating agencies; examples of key rating presentation elements & follow-up; and an investor's perspective on issuers' communication with the market and adequacy of disclosure.
Attendees will have the opportunity to hear directly from representatives from national rating agencies, financial advisory firms, an institutional investor, an underwriter and Rhode Island Treasury.
We encourage municipal employees from across Rhode Island, including mayors, finance directors, CFOs, finance directors, as well as employees of quasi-public corporations, to attend.
