Interim Report of the Providence County Grand Jury (Reported March 20, 2018)

John Monahan (age 35) 148 Washington St., Apt. 2R Central Falls, R.I. P1-2018-0598A

The Providence County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging John Monahan with one count of first degree robbery and one count of conspiracy.

It is alleged that on or about January 17, 2018, Monahan, along with an unidentified female, conspired to rob and did rob an individual in the first degree. The alleged incidents took place in Central Falls.

The Central Falls Police conducted the investigation. Monahan is scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on April 11, 2018.

Francisco Mello (age 33) 79 Old River Rd. Lincoln, R.I. P1-2018-0599A

The Providence County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Francisco Mello with two counts of first degree child molestation and one count of second degree child molestation.

It is alleged that on or about diverse dates between January 1, 2017 and March 31, 2017, Mello sexually assaulted and molested a male 14 years of age or under. The alleged incidents took place in Lincoln.

The Lincoln Police conducted the investigation. Mello is scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on April 11, 2018.

The Providence County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Jose Beltre and Alinson Baez-Gomez each with one count of possession of over one kilo of cocaine, possession with intent to deliver cocaine, possession of one ounce to one kilo of heroin, possession with intent to deliver heroin, possession of one ounce to once kilo of fentanyl, possession with intent to deliver fentanyl, and possession with intent to deliver controlled substances. Both were also charged with two counts of conspiracy to violate the Rhode Island Uniform Controlled Substances Act.

It is alleged that on or about November 21, 2017, Jose Beltre and Alinson Baez-Gomez were found to be in possession of illegal quantities of cocaine, heroin and fentanyl with the intent to deliver, in violation of the Rhode Island Uniform Controlled Substances Act. The alleged incidents took place in Providence.

The Providence Police conducted the investigation. Beltre and Baez-Gomez are both scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on April 11, 2018.
