PROVIDENCE, RI - Governor Gina M. Raimondo issued the following statement today in response to passage of the GOP-Trump Tax Bill:
"I stand with the majority of Americans who are deeply concerned and disappointed that President Trump and Republicans in Washington have passed a tax plan that gives the vast majority of relief to millionaires and billionaires and has the potential to raise taxes on some middle-class families. President Trump's tax plan is bad for Rhode Island. As Governor, I will continue to do everything in my power to protect Rhode Islanders impacted by President Trump's morally and fiscally irresponsible agenda."
