Governor Gina M. Raimondo has ordered Rhode Island flags at all state facilities and buildings to remain at half-staff until sunset on Tuesday, Oct 10, 2017 in honor of Superior Court Judge Walter Stone. Flags are currently flying at half-staff in memory of the victims of the Las Vegas shooting, in accordance with a Presidential Proclamation.
"Judge Stone dedicated his illustrious career to justice and fairness for all," said Governor Raimondo. "Rhode Island is better for his service. Andy and I are keeping his family and friends in our hearts during this difficult time."
Raimondo also asks Rhode Islanders to keep their their flags lowered as a mark of respect.
