The Providence County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Joao Pacheco with one count each of first degree robbery, felony assault resulting in serious bodily injury, simple assault, and resisting arrest.
It is alleged that on or about August 13, 2016, Pacheco robbed and assaulted a male causing serious injury, and assaulted a female, as well as resisted arrest. The alleged incidents took place in East Providence and East Providence Police conducted the investigation.
Pacheco will be arraigned on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 in Providence County Superior Court.
