Francis Scott (age 36) 199 Poplar Street Woonsocket, R.I. P1-2017-1309A
The Providence County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Francis Scott with one count of kidnapping of a minor, four counts of second degree sexual assault, one count of assault with a dangerous weapon, one count of first degree sexual assault and one count of second degree robbery based on incidents on diverse dates.
It is alleged that on or about February 14, 2017, Scott kidnapped a female under the age of 16 with the intent to sexually assault her. It is further alleged that on that date, Scott engaged in sexual contact with the female minor and physically assaulted her.
It is further alleged that on or about November 4, 2015, Scott sexually assaulted a female and also robbed her.
It is also alleged that on or about a day and date between December 31, 2016 and March 1, 2017, Scott sexually assaulted a female, and that on or about a day and date between October 31, 2016 and December 31, 2016, Scott sexually assaulted another female.
The alleged incidents took place in Providence and Providence Police conducted the investigation. Scott is scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on June 7, 2017.
