The Statewide Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Thomas Ruotolo with one count of first degree sexual assault. It is alleged that on or about June 15, 2016, Ruotolo sexually assaulted a female. The alleged incident took place in North Kingstown.
The Rhode Island State Police conducted the investigation. Ruotolo is scheduled to be arraigned in Washington County Superior Court on February 20, 2017.
