10/04/16: We learned that the direct deposit file used to process the approximately 29,000 State Supplemental SSI payments failed due to an issue with routing numbers and account numbers. Previously, it was understood that the file was processed last week. That was inaccurate.
Our team is currently working with our vendor and our financial partners to confirm that the issue has been corrected and get the payments made as soon as possible.
Note: This payment is a supplement to the October 1st federal SSI benefit payment, which exceeds $700 for an individual. Only the State Supplemental SSI payments, which total $39.92 per month per individual, are delayed.
