The Complainant alleged that the Office failed to comply with R.I. Gen. Laws § 38-2-3 (e) when it extended the time respond to an APRA request without providing "good cause" to extend the time to respond. We found that the Office had "good cause" to extend the time to respond due to several other pending APRA requests, many of which were broad and required the review of thousands of documents. Considering the volume, breadth and sequence of the APRA requests, we find no violation.
