The Statewide Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Born Smith with murder and first degree arson.
It is alleged that on or about November 13, 2015, Smith murdered Aliss Collins at her home at 35-37 Marcy Street in Cranston and set the house on fire.
The Cranston Police conducted the investigation. Smith has been held without bail since his arrest and is scheduled to be arraigned in Providence Superior Court on March 9, 2016.
