Sandry Russell (age 31) 132 Cleveland Street Providence, RI P1-2015-3994AG
The Providence County Grand Jury reported out an indictment Sandry Russell with first degree robbery, assault with a dangerous weapon, use of a firearm while committing a crime of violence, possession of a firearm having been previously convicted of a crime of violence, possession of a firearm without a license, and malicious killing of an animal.
It is alleged that on or about July 30, 2014, Russell, armed with a firearm, broke into a residence to stole marijuana and cash. During the home invasion, Russell shot an individual several times and shot and killed a pit bull.
The alleged incident took place in Providence. The Providence Police conducted the investigation. Russell is scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court before Superior Court Justice Robert D. Krause on December 18, 2015.
In October, Russell pleaded guilty to an attempted home invasion at an apartment in the Manton section of Providence in which he shot and injured a person on April 13, 2014. He was sentenced to 33 years with 13 years to serve and the remainder suspended with probation, without the benefit of parole.
Christopher Gildea (age 33) 11 River Street Smithfield, RI P1-2015-3995ADV
The Providence County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Christopher Gildea with domestic first degree sexual assault, domestic strangulation, and domestic simple assault. It is alleged that on or about June 11, 2015, Gildea sexually and physically assaulted a woman with whom he was in a domestic relationship.
The alleged event took place in Smithfield. The Smithfield Police conducted the investigation. Gildea is scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on December 30, 2015.
Elizabeth Tarasiak (age 61) 80 Perry Avenue Worcester, MA P1-2015-3996A
The Providence County Grand Jury reported out a secret indictment charging Elizabeth Tarasiak with one count of failure to report a death. It is alleged that on or about dates between May 6, 2015 and May 29, 2015, Tarasiak failed to report the death of Domingo Ortiz.
The alleged incident took place in Burrillville. The Burrillville Police conducted the investigation. A warrant for her arrest was issued. A date for an arraignment has not yet been scheduled.
