With reports of the first snowflakes falling in parts of Rhode Island, Attorney General Peter F. Kilmartin is once again partnering with the Neighborhood Alliance of Pawtucket to collect winter apparel as part of the annual "Warm Hearts Coats and Stuff Drive."
Now through Monday, November 23rd, the public can donate new or slightly worn winter coats, scarves, hats and gloves for children and adults at the Attorney General's Office located at 150 South Main Street, Providence. The Office is open from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
"With forecasters expecting another snowy winter for the Northeast, it is important that everyone have access to a warm coat, hat and gloves, and cost should not be a barrier for anyone to go without," said Attorney General Kilmartin. "I am grateful for the generosity of the public and the employees of the Office over the past several years. With their support, we have been able to help keep hundreds of families warm during the winter."
