The Statewide Grand Jury today reported out an indictment charging Christopher Forlasto with four counts of first degree sexual assault, one count of assault with a dangerous weapon, and two counts of simple assault.
It is alleged that on or about July 17, 2015, sexually assaulted an individual, with the assault being in the first degree. It is further alleged that Forlasto physically assaulted the same individual with a dangerous weapon, to wit, his hands.
The alleged events took place in North Kingstown, and the North Kingstown Police conducted the investigation. Forlasto is being held without bail and is scheduled to be arraigned in Washington County Superior Court on October 9, 2015.
