The Providence County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Zachary Alvarado with four counts of first degree robbery, five counts of assault with a dangerous weapon, six counts of discharge of a firearm while in the commission of a crime of violence, two counts of discharge of a firearm while in the commission of a crime of violence, and three counts of possession of a firearm without a license.
It is alleged that on or about the dates of March 5, 2015, April 2, 2015, April 27, 2015, and June 13, 2015, Alvarado robbed two different Metro PCS locations at Social and Main Streets in Woonsocket at gunpoint. It is further alleged that on or about June 19, 2015, Alvarado shot four individuals and assaulted a fifth with a firearm in a parking lot outside of Aly's Riverside Pub in Woonsocket.
The Woonsocket Police conducted the investigation. Alvarado is scheduled to be arraigned in Providence Superior Court before Justice Robert D. Krause on Monday, August 17, 2015.
Araya Brinkley (age 52)

The Providence County Grand Jury today reported out an indictment charging Araya Brinkley with murder and possession of a knife with a blade more than three inches long while in the commission of a crime of violence.
It is alleged that on or about May 23, 2015, Brinkley murdered Troy Henderson.
The alleged incident took place in Providence, and the Providence Police conducted the investigation. Brinkley has been held without bail since his arrest shortly after the alleged incident, and is scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on August 26, 2015.
Dejahn Walker (age 18)

The Providence County Grand Jury today reported out an indictment charging Dejahn Walker with first degree robbery.
It is alleged that on or about May 18, 2015, Walker robbed an individual, with the robbery being in the first degree.
The alleged incident took place in Providence, and the Providence Police conducted the investigation. Walker is scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on September 2, 2015.
