PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Governor Gina M. Raimondo tomorrow will outline the urgent need to stop Rhode Island's decline and spark a comeback, so that every hardworking person can make it in Rhode Island. Raimondo intends to share the approach and analysis she has undertaken to understand Rhode Island's bleak economic outlook and the tough choices that lay ahead.
"Jobs are the lifeblood of thriving families and the only way to solve our budget challenges," Governor Raimondo said. "Before we can begin the work of fixing what ails Rhode Island, we need a shared understanding of our challenges, how significant they are and what caused them."
