Interstate Highway Restrictions
Weekend
Providence: The off-ramp from Rtes. 6/10 East to I-95 South will be closed for attenuator repair, Saturday from 4 a.m. to 6 a.m. Follow detour using I-95 North.
Providence: I-195 East and West at the Providence River Bridge, lane closures for bridge work, Saturday:
• I-195 East, left lane closed, from 5 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• I-195 West, right lane closed, from 4 a.m. to noon.
Exit Closures
Providence: The off-ramp from Rtes. 6/10 West to I-95 South will be closed for construction, Sunday-Tuesday nights from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day. Follow signed detour.
Providence: Exit 22 (Downtown Providence/Rtes. 6 & 10) off of I-95 North will be closed for construction, Wednesday and Thursday nights from midnight to 5 a.m. the following day. Follow signed detour.
Overnight
Cumberland: I-295 South, from Exit 11 (Rte. 114/Diamond Hill Rd.) to Exit 9 (Rte. 146), right lane closed for construction, Sunday- Thursday nights from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day. The on-ramp from Mendon Rd. to I-295 South will also be closed at this time. Follow detour using I-295 North.
Exeter: I-95 North and South, from Exit 4 (Rte. 3) to Exit 5 (Rte. 102), left lane closed for construction, Monday-Wednesday nights:
• Monday night from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day
• Tuesday and Wednesday nights from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following day.
Warwick: I-95 North and South at Exit 8 (Rte. 2), alternating lane closures for construction, Sunday night from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day, and Monday-Thursday nights from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day.
Warwick to Cumberland: Expect alternating lane closures in a moving operation for striping on I-295 North and South, from I-95 in Warwick to the Massachusetts state line in Cumberland, including its ramps, Sunday-Thursday nights from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following day.
