Interstate Highway Restrictions
Oversized Truck Detour
Exeter: An oversized truck detour is in effect on I-95 North and South from Exit 4 (Rte. 3) to Exit 5 (Rte. 102). Oversized vehicles must temporarily detour to Rte. 3 to safely bypass I-95.
Ramp Closures
Providence: The off-ramp from Memorial Blvd. West to I-95 South will be closed for construction, Sunday-Wednesday nights from midnight to 5 a.m. the following day. Follow detour using I-95 North.
Smithfield to Cranston: There will be temporary closures of the on-and off-ramps on I-295 North and South at Exit 7 (Rte. 44), Exit 6 (Rte. 6) and Exit 4 (Rte. 14/Plainfield Pike) for paving, Sunday-Thursday nights from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day.
Overnight
Exeter: I-95 North and South, from Exit 4 (Rte. 3) to Exit 5 (Rte. 102), one lane of alternating traffic for construction, Sunday-Tuesday nights from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day.
Hopkinton-Warwick: Expect alternating lane closures in a moving operation for roadway striping on I-95, from the Connecticut state line to Exit 15 (Jefferson Blvd.), including its ramps, Monday-Thursday nights from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following day.
Warwick: I-95 North and South at Exit 8 (Rte. 2), left lane closed for construction, Sunday-Thursday nights from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day.
Westerly-Exeter: Expect delays in a moving operation for crack sealing on I-95 North from the Connecticut state line to Exit 4 (Rte. 3), Sunday-Thursday nights from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day.
