On July 27 Entrance Fees Waived at All R.I. State Beaches
Providence, RI – Governor Lincoln D. Chafee today announced that Rhode Island's annual Governor's Bay Day celebration is scheduled for Sunday, July 27. During the day, entrance fees will be waived at all State of Rhode Island beaches.
"We Rhode Islanders are fortunate to live among the natural beauty of our world-renowned beaches," Governor Chafee said. "Bay Day gives Rhode Islanders a great opportunity to get out and spend time with family and friends in some of these unique and special settings – free of charge."
Further details about family-friendly activities planned in conjunction with the Governor's Bay Day will be announced as the date approaches.
