Attorney General Peter F. Kilmartin issued the following statement on the passing of federal Court Security Officer and retired North Kingstown Police Officer Frank McKnight:
"On behalf of the Office of Attorney General, I express our deepest condolences to the family of Officer Frank McKnight, as well as to the brothers and sisters with whom he served in the North Kingstown Police Department and U.S. Marshals Service. Officer McKnight dedicated his life to protecting and serving the public. His loss is a reminder to us all of how precious and fragile life may be. May God bless his family during this difficult and tragic time."
