Interstate Highway Restrictions
Ramp Closures
Cumberland: I-295 South, from Exit 11 (Rte. 114/Diamond Hill Rd) to Exit 9 (Rte. 146), right lane closed for steel placement, Monday and Tuesday nights from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day. The on-ramp from Mendon Rd. to I-295 South also will be closed. Follow signed detour.
Lane Closures
Providence: I-95 North at Exit 22 (Downtown Providence/Rtes. 6 & 10), ramp narrowed for construction at the Providence Viaduct, Sunday night from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following day.
Providence: I-95 South, from Exit 22 (Downtown Providence/Rtes. 6 & 10) to just past Exit 21 (Atwells Ave.), right lane closed for construction at the Providence Viaduct, Monday and Tuesday nights from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day. Expect noise and vibrations.
Providence: I-95 South, from Exit 23 (Rte. 146) to just past Exit 21 (Atwells Ave.), right lane closed for construction at the Providence Viaduct, Monday-Thursday nights from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day.
Providence: I-95 North at Exit 20 (Point St.), alternating lane closures for a bridge inspection, Monday night from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following day.
Providence: I-95 South at Exit 20 (I-195) and the off-ramp to Eddy St., alternating lane closures for a bridge inspection, Tuesday night from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following day.
Providence: Alternating lane closures on the off-ramps from I-95 South to I-195 East, Wednesday night from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following day.
