Interstate Highway Restrictions
Ramp Closures
Cumberland: I-295 South, from Exit 11 (Rte. 114/Diamond Hill Rd) to Exit 9 (Rte. 146), right lane closed for construction, Monday-Thursday nights from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day. The on-ramp from Mendon Rd. to I-295 South also will be closed. Follow signed detour.
Providence: The on-ramps from Memorial Blvd. West and Rtes. 6/10 East to I-95 South will be closed for construction at the Providence Viaduct, Monday and Tuesday from 12 a.m. to 5 a.m. Expect noise and vibrations. Follow signed detour using I-95 North.
Lane Closures
Providence: I-95 South, from Exit 22 (Downtown Providence/Rtes. 6 & 10) to just south of Exit 21 (Atwells Ave.), right lane closed for construction at the Providence Viaduct, Sunday-Thursday nights from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day. Expect noise and vibrations.
Warwick: I-95 South at Exit 8 (Rte. 2), alternating lane closures for striping and barrier work, Tuesday and Wednesday nights from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day.
Warwick: I-95 North, just north of Exit 8 (Rte. 2), alternating lane and shoulder closures for survey work, Tuesday and Wednesday nights from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day.
