Exit Closures
Providence: Beginning Saturday, Exit 22 (Downtown Providence/Rtes. 6 & 10) off of I-95 South is scheduled to temporarily close for construction at the Providence Viaduct. The exit will reopen on Tuesday, March 11. Follow signed detours at www.dot.ri.gov/detourmaps.
Providence: The I-95 South exit off of Rtes. 6/10 East, and Memorial Blvd. West, will be closed for construction at the Providence Viaduct, Thursday and Friday from 1 a.m. to 4 a.m. Follow signed detour using I-95 North. Demolition work will continue through 11 a.m. each day but will not require a closure of the ramp. Expect noise and vibrations.
Lane Closures
Cranston: I-295 North and South, from Exit 3 (Rte. 37) to Exit 4 (Rte. 14), right shoulder closed for sign work, Monday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Providence: I-95 South, from Exit 23 (Rte. 146) to Exit 21 (Atwells Ave.), right lane closed for construction at the Providence Viaduct, Sunday-Thursday nights from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day. Expect noise and vibrations.
Providence: I-95 North and South at Clifford St., alternating lane closures for a bridge inspection, Wednesday and Thursday nights from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following day.
• Wednesday night: I-95 North
• Thursday night: I-95 South; there also will be a right lane closure on the ramp to I-195 East
Warwick: I-95 North, just north of Exit 8 (Rte. 2), alternating lane and shoulder closures for survey work, Monday-Thursday nights from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day.
