Jorge DePina, DOB: 8/7/80 48 Knowles Street Pawtucket, RI P1-2014-0001A
The Providence County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Jorge DePina with one count of murder. It is alleged that on or about July 3, 2013, DePina murdered his 10 year old daughter Aleida DePina.
The alleged incident took place in Pawtucket and the Pawtucket Police conducted the investigation. DePina is scheduled t be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on January 22, 2014.
Reinaldo Diaz, DOB: 1/30/79 100 Harrison Avenue Woonsocket, RI P1-2014-0002ADV
The Providence County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Reinaldo Diaz with eight counts of first degree sexual assault domestic, two counts of felony assault domestic, four counts of simple assault domestic and one count of violating a no contact order.
It is alleged that on or about dates between October 1 - 31, 2013 and again on or about dates between November 14 – 15, 2013, Diaz sexually and physically assaulted a female with whom he was in a domestic relationship multiple times. It is further alleged that Diaz violated a no contact order issued by the Court on November 14, 2012.
The alleged incidents took place in Woonsocket and the Woonsocket Police conducted the investigation. Diaz is scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on January 22, 2014.
