The Statewide Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Ricardo Romero with two counts of first degree child molestation and one count of second degree child molestation.
It is alleged that on or about dates between August 1, 2012 and February 10, 2013, Romero molested a young girl under the age of 14, with the molestation being in the first and second degree.
The alleged molestation took place in Providence and the Providence Police conducted the investigation. Romero is scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on January 15, 2014.
