The Providence County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging James Adams with one count of murder, three counts of first degree sexual assault, two counts of first degree robbery, two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon, three counts of possession of a firearm while committing a crime of violence and one count of possession of a firearm by a person previously convicted of a crime of violence.
It is alleged that on or about July 15, 2012, Adams murdered Mary Grier. It is further alleged that on or about dates between June 24, 2012 and June 30, 2012, Adams sexually assaulted and robbed two women and physically assaulted a third woman, using a firearm and a heavy metal object during the assaults. The alleged incidents took place in Cranston, Providence and Johnston.
The Cranston, Providence and Johnston Police conducted the investigation. Adams was arrested on July 24, 2012 and sentenced to 11 years to serve on June 27, 2013 for violating his probation from a 2005 conviction of first degree sexual assault.
Adams is scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court before Superior Court Justice Robert D. Krause on December 13, 2013.
Jason Cardoso, DOB: 2/2/80

The Providence County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Jason Cardoso with one count of first degree robbery. It is alleged that on or about June 26, 2013, Cardoso robbed the CVS located on Mineral Spring Avenue in North Providence.
The North Providence Police conducted the investigation. Cardoso is scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on December 18, 2013.
Kaelon Pittman, DOB: 3/12/95

The Providence County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Kaelon Pittman with three counts of first degree robbery, one count of assault with a dangerous weapon, one count of conspiracy and one count of larceny over $1,500.
It is alleged that on or about September 7, 2013, Kaelon Pittman robbed three individuals, with the robbery being in the first degree. It is further alleged that Pittman assaulted an individual with a "BB" pistol. In addition, it is alleged Pittman conspired with three juveniles to commit robbery, and that Pittman stole an Apple MAC Book Pro and an Exilim digital camera from two individuals. The alleged incidents took place in Providence.
The Providence Police conducted the investigation. Pittman is scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on December 18, 2013.
