The Rhode Island Department of Transportation (RIDOT) will temporarily close Exit 14A (Route 37 East) off of I-95 North on Wednesday, September 4, 2013. The exit closure is part of an ongoing construction project on Route 37 East in Warwick.
WHEN:
Wednesday, September 4, 2013
DETOUR:
Motorists seeking access to Post Road in Warwick are advised to follow the detour via Exit 15 (Jefferson Boulevard), with a left onto Jefferson Boulevard, a right onto I-95 South and then follow I-95 South to Exit 14A (Route 37 East).
An alternate route is to take Exit 13 (the Airport Connector) to the Post Road exit.
The bridge rehabilitation project on Route 37 East will require extended lane closures. The right lane will be closed between Exit 4B (I-95 North) and Exit 5A (Post Road) through early December. Extended closures of the center and left lanes will also be necessary as the project continues. Work is expected to be completed in April 2014; Exit 14A from I-95 North is scheduled to reopen at this time.
