Interim Report of the Providence County Grand Jury (Reported February 22, 2013)

Justin Thomas, DOB: 1/26/87 180 Beechwood Avenue Pawtucket, RI P1-2013-0589AG

The Providence County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Justin Thomas with seven counts of first degree robbery, use of a firearm while committing a crime of violence, carrying a pistol without a license, three counts of assault with a dangerous weapon, larceny over $1,500, resisting arrest and reckless driving.

It is alleged that on or about November 24, 2012, Thomas followed a pizza driver into the rear door of Dominoes Pizza in East Providence, where he pulled out a .32 caliber revolver and ordered everyone into a freezer. He allegedly demanded money from all the victims, as well as ordered one employee to clean out the cash from the register.

When the East Providence Police arrived on scene, Thomas allegedly fled out the back door, and, during a police pursuit, jumped into a police vehicle which he crashed into another police vehicle.

Thomas, who is currently held without bail, is scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court, in front of Superior Court Justice Robert D. Krause, on March 1, 2013.

Jesse Andrews, DOB: 9/23/80 296 Oxford Street Providence, RI P1-2013-0590A

The Providence County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Jesse Andrews with one count of burglary. It is alleged that on or about August 26, 2012, Andrews committed burglary. The alleged event took place in Providence and the Providence Police conducted the investigation. Andrews, who is currently held without bail, is scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on March 13, 2013.

Terrel Barros, DOB: 2/14/89 130 Garfield Street New Bedford, MA P1-2013-0591AG

The Providence County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Terrel Barros with murder, assault with a dangerous weapon, and multiple firearm charges including possession of a firearm after having been convicted of crime of violence, use of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime, carrying a pistol without a license, and receiving stolen goods, a .40 caliber Smith & Wesson pistol.

It is alleged that on or about August 26, 2012, Barros possessed a stolen .40 caliber Smith & Wesson pistol which he used to murder Jamal Cruz and seriously injure Rokiem Henley outside Monet Lounge nightclub.

The alleged incidents took place in Providence and the Providence Police conducted the investigation. Barros, who is currently held without bail, is scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court, in front of Superior Court Justice Robert D. Krause, on March 1, 2013.

Stephen Bodden, DOB 7/14/90 392 Cottage Street New Bedford, MA P1-2013-0592AG

The Providence County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Stephen Bodden with receiving stolen goods, a .40 caliber Smith & Wesson pistol, carrying a pistol without a license and misprision of a felony knowing that a crime to have been committed.

It is alleged that on or about August 26, 2012, Bodden possessed a stolen weapon, a .40 caliber Smith & Wesson pistol, for which he did not have a license to carry. It is further alleged that Bodden attempted to hide the pistol, which is the same weapon allegedly used by Terrel Barros in the murder of Jamal Cruz and assault of Rokiem Henley, in his motor vehicle.

Bodden, who is currently incarcerated in Massachusetts on a probation violation, is scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court, in front of Superior Court Justice Robert D. Krause, on March 1, 2013.

Lance Nicoletti, DOB: 7/31/86 5 Oakhurst Drive Greenville, RI P1-2013-0593A

The Providence County Grand Jury reported out an indictment today charging Lance Nicoletti with one count of first degree child molestation. It is alleged that on a day or date between August 23, 2012 and August 24, 2012, Nicoletti molested a person 14 years or under.

The alleged molestation took place in Johnston and the Johnston Police conducted the investigation. Nicoletti, who is currently held without bail, is scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on March 13, 2013.

Darrell Johnson, DOB: 11/16/92 69 John Street Pawtucket, RI P1-2013-0594AG

The Providence County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Darrell Johnson with murder, discharge of a firearm while in the commission of a crime of violence and carrying a pistol without a license.

It is alleged that on or about July 6, 2012, Johnson shot and killed Joshua Burgo using a firearm he was not licensed to carry. The alleged event took place in Pawtucket and the Pawtucket Police conducted the investigation. Johnson, who is currently held without bail, is scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court, in front of Superior Court Justice Robert D. Krause, on March 1, 2013.
