At 12:52 PM, Troopers arrested Shane J. Corriveau, age 35, of 5 Elm Court, Smithfield, Rhode Island, for Rhode Island Family Court Reciprocal Body Attachment for Failure to Appear-Non Support. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Esmond Street in the Town of Smithfield. Corriveau was transported to State Police Headquarters where he was processed and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution.
At 4:39 PM, Troopers arrested Cristano Medina, age 42, of 314 Wood Avenue, Woonsocket, RI, for a 6th District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Community Service Review, on a charge of Driving Under the Influence (1st Offense – Blood Alcohol Content Unknown), originating out of the Woonsocket Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Kendrick Street, in the City of Woonsocket. Medina was transported to State Police Headquarters, processed, and released after posting surety bail with a justice of the peace.
At 1:08 AM, Troopers arrested Thomas E. Viola, age 26, of 63 Roger Williams Drive, Johnston, RI, for 1) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor and/or Drugs—1st Offense—BAC Unknown and 2) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 6 in the Town of Johnston. The subject was transported to State Police Headquarters, processed and released to the custody of a family member after posting bail with a justice of the peace.
