The Newport County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Raymond Correira with one count of first degree child molestation.
It is alleged that on or about May 29, 2012, Correira molested a child 14 years of age or younger, with the molestation being in the first degree.
The Newport Police conducted the investigation. Correira is scheduled to be arraigned in Newport County Superior Court on November 15, 2012. He is currently out on $20,000 surety bail and home confinement, and was ordered to have no contact with the victim.
