At 8:30 AM, Troopers arrested David Barboza, age 44, of 22 Waterman Avenue, Johnston for an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Fraudulent Checks over $1000.00 originating out of the North Providence Police Department. Arrest was the result of Troopers responding to a motor vehicle accident on Route 6 in the Town of Johnston. Subject was transported to Headquarters, processed, and turned over to the North Providence Police Department.
At 3:25 AM, Troopers arrested Jake R. Faenza, age 19, of 109 Park View Boulevard, Cranston, RI for 1) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs1st Offense—BAC Unknown and 2) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test. Arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Whittier Street in the City of Providence. Faenza was transported to State Police Headquarters where he was processed and held overnight pending morning arraignment.
