The Washington County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Robert Eaton, of North Kingstown, with four counts of first degree child molestation and 11 counts of second degree child molestation.
It is alleged that on about dates between January 1, 1998 and December 31, 2000, Eaton molested a person14 years of age or under on multiple occasions, with the molestation being in the first and second degree.
It is further alleged that Eaton molested another person 14 years of age or under on or about the dates between January 1, 1995 and December 31, 1998, and a third victim 14 years of age or under on multiple occasions on or about the dates between January 1, 1994 and December 31, 1996.
The alleged molestation took place in North Kingstown. The North Kingstown Police conducted the investigation. Eaton is currently being held without bail at the ACI and is scheduled to be arraigned in Washington County Superior Court on October 1, 2012.
