The Statewide Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Reshat Alkayisi with possession of marijuana over five kilograms, and possession of marijuana with intent to deliver.
It is alleged that on or about May 31, 2012, Alkayisi was in possession of a controlled substance, marijuana in excess of five kilograms with the intent to deliver.
The alleged incident took place in Warwick. The Rhode Island State Police conducted the investigation. Alkayisi is currently held without bail and is scheduled to be arraigned in Kent County Superior Court on August 3, 2012.

The Statewide Grand Jury today reported out an indictment charging Matthew Ives and Richard Smith each with one count of possession of marijuana over five kilograms, one count of possession with intent to deliver, and two counts of conspiracy to violate the Controlled Substance Act. In addition, Ives is charged with one count of possession of a firearm with in possession with intent to deliver.
It is alleged that on or about May 24, 2012, Ives and Smith were in possession of more than five kilograms of marijuana with the intent to deliver and conspired to violate the Controlled Substance Act. It is further alleged that Ives was in possession of a firearm, a Glock .45, while in possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver.
The alleged events took place in West Warwick. The Rhode Island State Police conducted the investigation. Ives and Matthews are both currently held with bail and scheduled to be arraigned in Kent County Superior Court on August 3, 2012.
